The Natural History Museum of Basrah university was visited by a delegation from the Antiquities Authority on Sunday 13 of November 2022, the delegation consisted of members of the Duchvari Group, which is a group of specialists in heritage science, geology, and faculty members from the University of Baghdad, headed by Mrs. Wafaa Al-Samarrai. They were received by the director of the museum, Assis. Prof. Dr. Labeed Al-Saad, and the museum staff. The delegation's visit aimed to view the exhibits, ancient manuscripts, and rock samples that exhibited in the museum halls, as well as the scientific library.
